1. Who we are

SnagBoss is a trading name of Rhimic Limited, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 15393321. Our registered office is 4th Floor, 14 Museum Place, Cardiff, Wales, CF10 3BH. In these terms, "SnagBoss", "we", "us" and "our" mean Rhimic Limited.

2. These terms

These terms govern your use of the SnagBoss website, web app and mobile apps (together, the "service"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service. If you use SnagBoss on behalf of a business (for example as a professional snagging inspector), you confirm you have authority to bind that business, and "you" includes it.

3. The service

SnagBoss helps you record defects ("snags") in a property — descriptions, locations and photos — and produce professional reports you can share with your builder or clients, including via private share links and PDF exports.

SnagBoss is a software tool. We do not inspect properties, and we do not provide surveying, construction, legal or other professional advice. The content of your snag reports is your responsibility, and we do not guarantee that any defect you record will be accepted, actioned or fixed by a builder, developer, warranty provider or anyone else.

4. Your account

We sign you in with a link or code sent to your email address, so your email account is the key to your SnagBoss account — keep it secure. You're responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 to create an account. Tell us straight away at snagboss@rhimic.com if you think someone has accessed your account without permission.

5. Plans, payments & refunds

Parts of the service are free; others are paid. Current prices are shown on our pricing page at the time of purchase.

• Property unlock (homeowners): a one-off charge for lifetime access to the full service for a single property. The unlock is tied to that property's verified address and cannot be transferred to a different property.
• Professional plans: recurring subscriptions, billed monthly or yearly per user, which renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; your plan then runs to the end of the period you've paid for.

Payments are processed by Stripe acting as merchant of record. Stripe handles the transaction, applicable taxes and payment security; your purchase is also subject to Stripe's consumer terms presented at checkout.

Because purchases give you immediate access to digital content, you ask us to start supplying the service straight away, and you acknowledge that you lose the statutory 14-day cooling-off cancellation right once the service has been fully delivered. This doesn't affect your other statutory rights, including where the service is faulty or not as described. To ask about a refund, contact snagboss@rhimic.com.

We may change our prices from time to time. Price changes to a subscription take effect from your next renewal, and we'll give you reasonable notice so you can cancel first if you don't want to continue.

6. Your content

You own the content you add to SnagBoss — property details, snag descriptions, photos and reports. You grant us the licence needed to host, store, process and display that content in order to provide the service, including generating reports and showing content to people you share it with via share links. This licence ends when your content is deleted from the service.

You're responsible for what you upload. Don't add content that is unlawful, that infringes anyone else's rights (including photographing people without an appropriate basis to do so), or that you don't have permission to use.

Share links are private but accessible to anyone who has the link — share them carefully. You can revoke a share link at any time from the app.

7. Acceptable use

You must not:

• use the service for anything unlawful, deceptive or harmful;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to accounts, systems or data;
• interfere with the operation of the service, including probing, scraping or placing unreasonable load on it;
• resell or provide the service to third parties except as a plan expressly allows;
• circumvent plan limits, including reusing a single property unlock across multiple properties.

If you spot someone misusing the service, or content that breaks these terms, report it to safety@rhimic.com. If you believe you've found a security vulnerability, please tell us privately at security@rhimic.com rather than disclosing it publicly, and give us reasonable time to investigate and fix it.

8. Our intellectual property

The service — including the SnagBoss name, logo, software and design — belongs to us or our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service in line with these terms and your plan. Whitelabel features on eligible professional plans let you brand your own reports; they don't transfer any rights in the underlying service.

9. Availability & changes

We work hard to keep SnagBoss available and your data safe, but the service is provided without guarantee of uninterrupted availability — we may need to suspend it for maintenance, updates or reasons beyond our control. We may improve or change features over time. If we make a change that materially reduces what a paid plan includes, we'll give you reasonable notice and you may cancel.

You can export your reports and data at any time, and we recommend keeping your own copies of anything important.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded or limited under the law of England and Wales, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Subject to that: we're not liable for losses that were not foreseeable when you agreed to these terms, for losses not caused by our breach, or for business losses where you use the service as a consumer. Our total liability to you in connection with the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose (or £50 if you have only used the free tier).

We're not responsible for decisions made by builders, developers, warranty providers or any other third party based on reports you create with SnagBoss.

11. Ending the agreement

You can stop using SnagBoss and delete your account at any time from your settings or by emailing us. We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if required by law, or if we withdraw the service — in which case we'll give you reasonable notice and the chance to export your data where we lawfully can. Deleting your account permanently removes your properties, snags, photos and reports after a short grace period, as described in our privacy policy.

12. General

We may update these terms from time to time — for example to reflect changes in the service or the law — and will update the date at the top of this page. For significant changes we'll give you reasonable notice by email or in the app. If you keep using the service after a change takes effect, the updated terms apply.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction — though if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings there, and consumers keep the protection of mandatory rules of the country they live in. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later.
